Two-stage drainage

The two-stage inlet consists of a roof drain mounted on a vapor barrier and an extension connected to the main waterproofing. Roof gutters must always be fitted as the bottom part. As standard, the dirt protection basket is sent together with the roof drain, since only the roof drain is installed in the case of single-stage drainage in non-insulated structures. Thanks to the same dimensions of the top of the inlet and the attachments, the protective basket is universal and can also be used in the attachment. In the package near the attachment there is a seal that, by inserting it into the groove of the roof drain neck, creates a waterproof joint.

The order of products at the two-stage drain

The roof inlet is always installed as the lower part and the inlet extension is always installed in the drain. The upper part of the roof drain is of universal diameter, and with the help of a seal with the insertion of the attachment, it forms a waterproof joint. Otherwise, no.

Height of thermal insulation

The TWN extension is applicable from a thermal insulation thickness of 40 mm. For the heated version of the extension, the minimum thickness of the thermal insulation is 100 mm.

Heating two-stage drain

For the heated variant of two-stage drainage, it is recommended to heat the first stage, i.e. the roof inlet TW, to a thermal insulation thickness of 300 mm, due to the ease of bringing the supply cable. At a higher height of thermal insulation, a heated TWN extension is already supplied.

Packing of a two-stage drain

The two-stage intrusion is from the above only nomenclature. For assembly, products are ordered separately:
1. Packaging - Roof drain TW
2. Packaging - Roof drain extension TWN
